ANATOMY AND PHYSIOLOGY
Human anatomy is the scientific study of the body’s structures. Physiology explains how the structures of the body work together to maintain life. It is difficult to study the structure (anatomy) without knowledge of the function (physiology). The two disciplines are typically studied together because form and function are closely related in all living things.

with the necessary knowledge regarding materials used in the Prosthetic Industry. It also focus on occupational health and safety in the use
of different reinforcement materials in the manufacturing of prostheses.
MECHANICS
This subject will cover the basic mechanics needed to understand biomechanical concepts related to lower limbs in human body. The subject introduces methods and techniques of solving basic mechanics related biomechanical problems in the human body
MATHEMATICS
This subject
covers some of the basic mathematics needed to understand the much more
complicated problem of the biomechanics of the human body.
